Reviewing the Delicious Chinese Recipes. I love a recipe book, as you may have noticed. When someone shared a link for this Chinese recipe book, I knew I may be taking a risk because we don’t always enjoy some of the dishes we’ve tried. We aren’t Chinese, but we have taste buds! When something tastes good, that quality can cross cultures easily and pleasantly.
I may still not be a great fan for Chinese food, but we do like chicken, pork, rice, noodles and ginger! Now, the recipe for Sweet and Sour Sauce has become a family favorite right on the very first try. I was not impressed with the last jar of Sweet and Sour that I purchased at the super market. I have some things that I want to see — a little more red for one thing. The ingredients were simple things that most any kitchen would have. The process was clear and quick. I made it one day and we ate it for lunch with pork loin and rice the next day. We have declared it a winner.
I can see there are other recipes in this book that I will be able to accomplish and still keep up with my other work at Bar JD. This is important to me — working in my own office which is part of the house can paint me into a corner! I want efficient dishes that I can cook, manage athe clean-up and keep up with my work. There will be more than one option in the Delicious Chinese Recipes cookbook which I have downloaded to my Kindle.
I recommend that you give it a try!
